Capturing moments my journey as a photographer

As a visual artist with many years of experience in the field of photography, I have always been fascinated by the power of a single moment captured through the lens of a camera. From the early days of film photography to the digital and AI age of today, my passion for capturing beauty and emotion through photography has only grown stronger.
My journey as a photographer began when I was just a teenager, experimenting with my father’s film camera. The magic of seeing an image develop in the darkroom, and the ability to tell a story through a single image, captivated me from the very start.
Over the years, I have honed my craft as an observer before than a photographer, exploring both analogue and digital mediums. My work has taken me to all corners of the human landscapes, capturing everything from the natural beauty of a wise smile to the raw emotions of individuals.
One of the things that inspires me most as a photographer is the ability to connect with people through my images.
Expressing myself through photography is the ancient force that drives me from within to connect with people and their stories. It’s as if there is nothing else in the world when I come across an interesting subject from a human perspective. I immerse myself in every medium available to communicate what we have in common and what makes us different each other as human beings, and that’s why I created my project “Stati Uditi dell’ Uomo” which is and will be an open and work in progress project. I explore the internal and mental states of being human. Through my photography, I aim to capture the essence of what it means to be human, to evoke emotion and provoke thought in those who view my work. For me, photography is more than just a job or a hobby; it’s a way of life, an extension of my being. It’s the urge to express myself that keeps me alive and connected to the world around me.
